Bio
Gavin is the Registered Manager for two services based in Torfaen, bringing over 10 years of experience across both the education and social care sectors. Since joining Midway in 2018, Gavin has demonstrated a strong commitment to professional development and progression, undertaking a variety of roles within the organisation and building a broad, hands-on understanding of care and support services.
Gavin began his journey Residential Care Worker in May 2018, his dedication and capability led to further advancement into a Link role in July 2021, followed by a Deputy Manager position in April 2022. In May 2023, Gavin was appointed as a Residential Manager, a role in which he continues to lead with passion, professionalism, and a person-centred approach. Gavin holds a degree in Educational Studies, which underpins his strong belief in the importance of learning, development, and positive outcomes for individuals in care. He has further enhanced his leadership skills by completing his Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
